A three-night stay at Victoria Falls River Lodge combines luxurious comfort with thrilling adventure on the banks of the mighty Zambezi River. You can enjoy an exciting range of included activities, such as morning and afternoon game drives in the Zambezi National Park, peaceful sunset river cruises, and guided tours of the iconic Victoria Falls.
For a touch of culture and exploration, there are also guided bush walks, canoeing excursions, and visits to local villages. Between adventures, unwind at the lodge’s infinity pool or private deck, where elephants and hippos are often seen along the riverbanks. Evenings are spent dining under the stars and listening to the sounds of the African night — the perfect blend of relaxation and discovery.
Day 01: Victoria Falls Airport Arrival
- Arrival: Road transfer from Victoria Falls Airport to the River Lodge Island Treehouses.
- Activity: Check-in and start enjoying optional activities.
Day 01-04: Activity Highlights & Options
- The Falls: A recommended walk (guided or unguided) to appreciate the sheer size of Victoria Falls.
- Aerial Views (Bucket List): Taking a helicopter or microlight flight over the falls for incredible views.
- Adrenaline/Adventure: Options include bungee jumping, gorge swinging, white water rafting, or a trip to the iconic Devil’s Pool (Zambian side).
- Relaxed Experiences: Enjoying languid boat trips, sundowner cruises on the Zambezi, or afternoon teas.
- Safari Options: Day trip to Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park (Zambia) for rhino tracking and walking safaris.
- Day trip to Chobe National Park (Botswana) for Big Five sightings and river cruises known for large elephant herds.
Day 04: Victoria Falls Airport Departure
- Departure: Road transfer from Victoria Falls River Lodge Island Treehouses back to Victoria Falls Airport.
- Optional: Suggestion to connect the trip with a Cape Town add-on.
